Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers (BAIB) is a leading organization in the insurance sector. It represents the interests of both insurance brokers and their clients.

Twenty-five licensed insurance brokers, with a recognized name on the insurance market in Bulgaria, are current members of BAIB. Our members generate over a quarter of the gross premium turnover of the overall Bulgarian insurance market. BAIB is the voice of consumers of the insurance services. Our mission is to provide the best professional advice, to the individual customers and entrepreneurs, helping them to make the right decision when concluding insurance contracts.

BAIB actively participates in the process of foundation and amendment of the insurance legislation contributing its professional opinion on key issues related to insurance in Bulgaria. We always seek for a dialogue with the Financial Supervision Commission; the Association of Bulgarian Insurers and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria, consumer organizations and other stakeholders, for the purpose of protecting the insured persons’ interest.
